How to make arepas.

Arepa is a type of food made from ground maize dough, originating from the northern region of South America in pre-Columbian times, and is notable primarily in Venezuelan cuisine.

It is eaten daily for breakfast or dinner and can be served with accompaniments such as cheese, beans, chicken, avocado, various meats, etc

With the intention of sharing a bit more of my Venezuelan culture and influences, I worked on an illustrated tutorial to teach “how to make arepas (in an easy way)”.

Using a very friendly language to illustrate how all Venezuelans have learned how to cook arepas when they were kids.

This dish is more than just an easy meal for Venezuelans, it means sharing with our loved ones and cooking a delicious meal together with friends and family.

it’s the moment when we meet in the same space to make a beautiful food experience together.
